  • It is my pleasure to submit the following letter supporting Rabbi Yisroel  Dovid Goldstein.  He is a well respected member of our community and I have worked with him as Medical Director of Hatzoloh a group of first responders serving  mainly the Jewish community.  He is the director of the organization and oversees the daily running of our group.

He has also shadowed me on several shifts in the emergency department at Mackenzie Health.  He is an astute, caring clinician and understands the unique role that paramedics play on the healthcare team.    He is highly respected in the healthcare community and has been instrumental in the development of Hatzoloh in Toronto over the years.

In addition Yisroel is an excellent Mohel and I have witnessed some of his work in performing the Bris. He is compassionate and highly skilled in assessing the newborn boy.  He is a pleasure to deal with and has a great rapport with families.

In short I have no hesitation in recommending him to do a Bris.
