A new boy is traditionally ushered into the Bris on a white pillow, often embroidered and adorned with lace. Print this useful checklist a few days before the Bris and feel confident knowing that you’re well-prepared!

  • A “Tallit” (prayer shawl)
  • Bottle of wine (preferably sweet)
  • Kiddush cup
  • Candles
  • Pillow
  • Pillowcase (usually white)
  • Blanket for child
  • Diapers (at least 4)
  • Antibiotic ointment (Bacitracin or Neosporin, etc.)
  • Sterile Gauze (pack of 24 individually wrapped 3″x3″)
  • Pacifier (recommended)
  • Printed list of honorees
  • Feed the baby (up to one hour prior to the Bris)
